Highness at Mary Jane Berlin: a trade show that confirmed what we already knew

There are trade shows you attend to be seen, and there are trade shows you attend to listen. For Highness Distribution, Mary Jane Berlin 2026 was firmly the second kind — and the conversations we had on the stand told us more about where the European CBD trade is heading than any market report could.

A stand full of familiar faces — and new ones

Walking onto the Highness stand this year felt less like exhibiting and more like hosting. Resellers we’ve worked with for years stopped by to catch up in person, trade notes on the season, and see what was new in the assortment. Alongside them came a steady flow of new faces — shop owners, e-commerce operators, and prospective agents from across Europe — many of whom had already come across Highness through this very magazine before ever setting foot in Berlin.

That mix of continuity and discovery is, in many ways, the story of Highness’s last few years: a supplier that professional buyers already trust, still actively earning new relationships one conversation at a time.

The warmth behind the numbers

It’s easy to talk about a trade show in terms of footfall and lead counts, and by that measure alone, this edition was a strong one for us. But what stayed with the team wasn’t the count — it was the tone. Buyer after buyer told us the same thing in different words: that they came to the Highness stand because they knew what to expect — clear compliance documentation, honest answers about lead times, and product knowledge that didn’t require a follow-up email to verify.

That kind of trust doesn’t happen at a single event. It’s built across every certificate of analysis shared, every regulatory question answered plainly, every order that arrived when it was supposed to. Mary Jane Berlin was simply the place where we got to feel it all in one room, over a few very full days.

Thank you

None of this happens without the people who made it possible.

Thank you to the Mary Jane Berlin organizing team, whose work behind the scenes — from logistics to hall layout to the countless details visitors never see — gave exhibitors and buyers alike the space to actually connect.

Thank you to every visitor who stopped at the Highness stand: to the long-standing partners who took the time to say hello, and to the new contacts who asked the right questions and, in several cases, are already in conversation with our agent network about next steps.

And thank you to the Highness team on the ground, who spent long days representing the company with the same care that goes into every shipment we send out.

Looking ahead to the next edition

If this year’s Mary Jane Berlin confirmed anything, it’s that in-person trust and digital resources aren’t competing priorities for professional buyers — they reinforce each other. The conversations that started on the stand are already continuing through emails, through this magazine, and through our agent network across Europe.

We’re already looking forward to the next edition, and to the conversations still to come between now and then. In the meantime, Highness Magazine will keep doing what it does between fairs: tracking the regulatory landscape, breaking down what matters for resellers and distributors, and giving professional buyers the intelligence they need to make confident decisions.

If you met us in Berlin and haven’t yet connected with your local Highness sales agent, now is a good time to start that conversation.
